The Journeys Series started as an idea within my Symphonies Series in 2021. I wanted to expand on the Ideas I had touched upon in that range of paintings. Journeys paintings are made by layering and dyeing raw canvas or paper. This is then cut up randomly and put back together in panels. They are in essence a painting finished then taken apart and put back together to get something random but ordered.
